Introduction

Borrell Rafferty Associates Pty Ltd was formed in July 1998 when the long established quantity surveying practices of Ian Borrell & Associates (WA) Pty Ltd and Paul Rafferty & Associates Pty Ltd merged to form this entity. We have since provided services on more than 2000 projects throughout Western Australia and neighbouring states. We are privately owned and proudly, Western Australian.

Borrell Rafferty Associates Pty Ltd have provided quantity surveying services on a wide variety of projects for the State Government, State Departments, Local Authorities, property developers and owner-occupiers. Many of the projects are prominent in and around Perth and vary from elaborate designs to simple structures.

The Managing Director, Paul Rafferty has more than 40 years of quantity surveying experience gained on many types of building, civil and engineering projects, both in Australia and overseas. Borrell Rafferty Associates Pty Ltd is on the panel of approved Consulting Quantity Surveyors for the State Government (the Department of Finance, Building Management & Works and the Department of Housing) and the Commonwealth Government (Australian Construction Services Department).

All our staff members are qualified quantity surveyors having obtained a university degree or equivalent qualification, recognised by and approved for membership of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (AIQS).

Our company has the necessary qualifications, skills and experience to provide the full range of quantity surveying services relevant to the construction industry and we have the capacity and ability to provide these services for practically any construction project.

We are licensed users of CostX 3D/BIM construction cost estimating and quantity surveying software and all our staff are advanced users thereof. CostX is one of the world’s most advanced quantity surveying software systems and is used by us on all of our projects.
